Kim Marshall is the founder of The Marshall Plan, a communications company
specializing in luxury and lifestyle clients, with a clientele
that’s a virtual “who’s who” of the
lifestyle, travel & spa industries.
As a Lifestyle Trend Expert, Kim Marshall has spoken around
the country on marketing, been quoted in national magazines
& newspapers such as CONDE NAST TRAVELER and TRAVEL WEEKLY,
and she has appeared on FOX T.V., QVC, ACCESS HOLLYWOOD and
her own 30-minute newsmagazine called THE SPA LIFE that she
developed for FOX’s Health Network.
Ms. Marshall has also been tapped to do spa and wellness consulting
for Fortune 500 companies including Coca Cola, Proctor &
Gamble and Walgreens.
Her articles on popular culture, wellness, anti-aging and exercise
have appeared in many newspapers and magazines, including the
Washington Post, Women’s Sports & Fitness, Spa Magazine
and Conde Nast Traveler.
Having obtained a degree in communications from Towson State
University in Maryland, Marshall has attended graduate classes
at UCLA. An avid hiker and aficionado of the arts, Ms. Marshall
resides in Pacific Palisades, California with her husband,
Laz and her young son, Gabriel. |

Preston Wynne Spa was one of the
nation’s first day
spas that opened in 1984 in Saratoga, CA, an affluent suburb
in the Silicon Valley. The company added a consulting and
training division in 1994, and a spa product division in
1998, which it subsequently spun off.
Founder Peggy Wynne Borgman has been named one of the top spa consultants in
the U.S. by the readers of American Spa magazine, and is a sought-after
speaker at trade events. Her commentary on the spa industry and small
business has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Time, and USA
Today. Through her groundbreaking Spa Directors Management Intensive,
Borgman has trained spa directors for many five-star hospitality brands, including
Ritz-Carlton, Peninsula Group, Four Seasons and Shangri-La. She remains
actively hands-on at Preston Wynne Spa, which provides a learning laboratory
for her constantly evolving spa management concepts. |

Erica recently graduated from UCLA receiving a BA with a focus
in mass media from their prestigious communication studies
program. Before she came to work at the Marshall Plan, Erica
was involved in entertainment PR working in the music department
at Rogers and Cowan. While at Rogers and Cowan, she was able
to hone in her PR skills through managing the press for high
profile musicians as well as setting up and working large-scale
events like the Grammy Awards 2010. In addition to PR, Erica
also has a strong accounting background, having done accounting
for both a large national corporation and a small architecture
firm. Whether writing press releases or crunching numbers,
she always approaches her work with relentless determination
and a can-do-attitude. Outside of work, Erica has a passion
for cooking and entertaining. When she isn’t busy hosting
dinner parties, she enjoys relaxing at home with her roommates
and her Persian cat Teddy. She is a great new addition to our
team and we are happy to welcome her to TMP! |

celebrity arena (Hong Kong:).
Ms. Chon began her experience in the beauty world at Fred
Hayman's (formerly Giorgio of Beverly Hills) where she coordinated
the international launch of fragrance brands, organized celebrity
events and fashion shows on Rodeo Drive, and coordinated wardrobing
for Oscar presenters and nominees.
For seven years she was the Director of Public Relations for
Sebastian International where she was responsible for an annual
PR budget of $1.5 million and a staff of five. Besides international
media relations, Ms. Chon directed the corporation's philanthropic
efforts, which included participation in high-profile benefits
for rainforest, breast cancer and AIDS charities, as well
as organizing product placement in feature films and securing
celebrity endorsements for products. She also worked in product
development, brand packaging and marketing strategies. |

Veteran creative director Len Torres
opened his own successful design firm, PRIMUS, in 1976 after
gaining extensive experience as an art director for several
prestigious Southern California-based companies. With a keen
understanding of color and design trends and applications
and a background in developing visually stunning campaigns
for luxury clients, Len has worked with an expansive list
of notable companies including the legendary Golden Door Spa
in San Diego County; Rancho La Puerta (the first destination
spa in North America); The Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa
in Maui; the Regent Beverly Wilshire hotel of "Pretty Woman"
fame; Indigo Grill Restaurant; Old Globe Theatre in San Diego;
the world-famous San Diego Zoo; La Costa Products, International;
and Thalasso Spa Equipment. Drawing from his specialized training
in graphic and written communications, San Diego native Len
weaves his keen understanding of powerful messaging into his
creative campaigns that range from branding, public relations
and advertising to strategy development, copywriting and multimedia
production.
Len is a founding member of San Diego's AIGA chapter (American
Institute of Graphic Artists), and his numerous prestigious
honors include awards from the New York Art Director's Club,
National Medical Association (Gold), PRINT Magazine, and Illustration
West (Gold). Len's professional contributions also include
work on behalf of important non-profit organizations including
the American Cancer Society, American Lung Association and
the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation. When not creating memorable
campaigns for his many clients, Len enjoys giving marketing
and design lectures at local San Diego colleges.
